Koufonisia (or Koufonissi) is a complex of three small islands southeastern of Naxos and they are named Pano Koufonisi, Kato Koufonisi and Keros. Out of the three islands only Pano Koufonisi is inhabited and in the last few has received all of interest from tourists.

Many people from the surrounding islands come here attracted by the golden beaches, crystal clear waters and quiet landscape. In the northern district of the island you will find many seaside caves to explore. The settled area of the island is decorated in the typical Cycladic colors and you will find quite a few hotels and rented rooms. Moving about the island is easily and the distances is small, you can get anywhere on the island either by foot or car.
